Molly's Special Day at American Girl!!

Today, American Girl launched their new Truly Me dolls!!  All the girls were really excited to see the new outfits!!  Molly was elected to go and check everything out....and she even had a little surprise treat while she was there!!

When we walked in to the store, Molly was welcomed by Samantha, standing in her gazebo!  Molly was thrilled to see it all decorated for Memorial day!! "Wow!! This looks amazing!! It's so patriotic!! I love it!!"

Next, Molly spotted the new sailboard!!  She went over to check it out.  "Golly!! Can I try this sailboard??!!"

"Sure!" Said the doll riding it. "But, are you sure you're dressed for it?". (Molly hadn't thought of that, but she wanted to try it anyway!)

Molly was a little tired after using the sailboard, so when she spotted the new hammock she rushed over to try it out!  "Ahhhh...this is the life!! "

Next, Molly went over to Grace's patisserie for a little lunch!  "Mmmm..that hits the spot!!"

After she finished her lunch, Molly went over to say hi to Caroline in her display.  Poor Caroline was a little sad because of her retirement!  "I'm sorry Caroline!!  I know how you feel, I'm retired too!!  I didn't want to go either!!"

Next, Molly helped me pick out some goodies for the other girls!! (She was a very good little helper!)

"Hmmm...I think Ivy would love this one!!"

Molly and I went upstairs, where I had a little surprise for her!  "Oh Golly!!  I get to go to the salon??!!" she exclaimed delightedly.  The salon stylist was very nice to Molly, and gave her a pretty robe to wear, while she cleaned her up, and pampered her.  "I feel so special!!" said Molly

Ta Da!!!  Molly looked beautiful!!  The salon stylist even let Molly pick out some new hair ribbons!  "I love them!!" squealed Molly happily

After her salon visit, Molly wanted to show off how pretty she looked!  She went over to Samantha, and tried out her bicycle.  "Oh boy!  This is fun!!" she said

Next, she went over to Caroline in her boat.  "You look so pretty Molly!" said Caroline

"Thank you!!" said Molly  "I will miss seeing you in the store Caroline!"

Molly made sure we had everything before checking out.  "Hmmm..Ivy, Nellie, Kirsten..I think that's everyone!  Now, how am I going to carry all of these??"

"What a wonderful day this has been!!" said Molly happily as she sat in front of American Girl."I can't wait to come back!!"
